BACKGROUND
The Environment Protection Agency – Sierra Leone is the Agency established by the EPA Act 2008 (as amended in 2010) for the effective protection of the environment and other related matters.
Environment protection agency (EPA-SL) is interested in diversifying its supplier data base and in finding new suppliers that can provide quality goods and services at competitive prices. Suppliers/companies can determine if they can supply products that either exactly match or are similar to the products we procure. EPA-SL wishes to establish a shortlist of potential suppliers for different categories of items.
Objective of the Assignment
The main objective of this assignment is to develop a supplier/consultancy database of registered and experienced firms/individuals to carry out supply and consultancy services for the agency during the financial year.
The Environment protection agency (EPA-SL) is requesting qualified and competent suppliers who are capable of supplying goods and services to send in expression of interest (EOI) and who would be interested in being invited to bid on the category mentioned below, to apply for inclusion in EPA-SL database.
Following the deadline for submitting the EOI, EPA-SL will review the responses and absolute discretion will be observed to select suppliers for the database to undertake the supply of goods, services and works.
This current EOI includes those suppliers who have been working with EPA-SL. They should re-apply as part of this pre-qualification exercise which aims to identify suitable suppliers for a new roster. The interested companies (candidates) shall answer the entire requirement mentioned below. Companies which possess substantial and proven record of performance, experienced manpower, financial resources and equipment are, therefore, encourage to apply.
Required Documents
- Company’s confirmation in writing of interest to participate in the prequalification process
- Valid business license
- Legal registration certificate from the Inland Revenue Administration, VAT registration certificate.
- Memorandum of understanding/Article of establishment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the sector;
- Company Business profile /CV of consultant/s (for consultants).
- Audited balance sheet and a bank statement for the last two years (Financial statement)
- Support of letters for completion of deliveries (certificate of completion)
- Support letter from a bank.
- Other relevant supporting documents.
- Wiliness to work with the Environment Protection Agency according to its terms and conditions.
- Working email address (Matter of Most- means of all correspondent)
For Aviation companies/Agencies, we will further require the following:
- SLCCA registration Certificate
- IATA Certificate of the Airline
