The Environment Protection Agency – Sierra Leone has secured funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) for pilot demonstration of electric 3- wheelers and chargers (electric-keke) in Freetown Sierra Leone and therefore intend to purchase from a qualified and experienced national/international EV providers for the supply of electric 3-Wheelers (locally referred as e-Keke) and associated chargers in the capital city of Freetown. This project aims to introduce sustainable transportation to reduce GHG emissions, enhance road safety by promoting quality e-Kekes over ICE Kekes and motorcycle taxis and optimize energy use.

  1. Detailed description and technical specifications of the items are attached in the bidding schedule of requirement
  2. Bidding is open to all National/international suppliers who can demonstrate eligibility and capability to undertake the supply and delivery of computer and their accompanying accessories.
  3. The supplier will support installation, commissioning, warranty and maintenance support and services and appropriate training and manuals (through right local partners).

All bids must be accompanied by:

  • Bid Form/Price Schedule
  • Company Business profile (Description of the company(s) – background and expertise (products, design, IPs, assembly/manufacturing, dealerships, fleet management), credentials
  • A valid Business registration certificate
  • Bid Security of [24,750.00] from a reputable Commercial Bank;

  • A signed Integrity Pact;

  • Evidence of similar experience (experience in executing similar projects (in HQ country and/or outside countries)

Bids will be publicly opened on 10th June, 2024 at 12:35 P.M., in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below.  Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.
