The Environment Protection Agency warmly welcomes the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) – Liberia delegation to Sierra Leone where the two countries will expand their collaboration in addressing pressing environmental concerns through shared experiences and innovative solutions.

The Head of Delegation, Anthony S. Kollie, Acting Deputy Executive Director of the EPA Liberia, will lead the delegation’s discussions with us and other key stakeholders.

We will conduct a series of courtesy visits with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and allied ministries to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties.

Technical sessions on climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, waste and chemical management, compliance monitoring, and public awareness strategies will follow.

Discussions will also focus on multilateral environmental processes, including implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), biodiversity strategies, and obligations under global treaties such as the Montreal Protocol.

The exchange visit will expose the visiting team to our successful environmental programmes and initiatives while also offering them the opportunity to learn from our approaches.
This will not only improve technical skills but will also strengthen environmental policy and open avenues for collaboration on joint projects between the two countries.

We look forward to a productive exchange.
